Progesterone Products
CRINONE® and PROCHIEVE® progesterone gels are two brands of our specially-formulated, sustained-release bioadhesive natural progesterone gel. The product is applied into the vagina where it adheres to the vaginal walls to be absorbed directly where it is needed. This route of application avoids the local pain and skin abscesses associated with intramuscular injections of progesterone.
CRINONE 8% (progesterone gel) and PROCHIEVE 8% (progesterone gel)
For progesterone supplementation or replacement as part of an Assisted Reproduction Technology (ART) treatment for women with a progesterone deficiency who are undergoing fertility treatment. Uses include progesterone supplementation in some women to optimize clomiphene citrate cycles, and in other women at the day of egg retrieval to reduce uterine contractions at the time of embryo transfer, therefore increasing the likelihood of successful implantation. Also used to provide pregnancy support throughout the first trimester.
PROCHIEVE® 4% (progesterone gel)
For secondary amenorrhea, a condition where the menstrual cycle has stopped for reasons other than menopause.
