CRINONE® 4% (progesterone gel) is a vaginal progesterone gel utilizing our sustained-release bioadhesive technology and indicated for the treatment of secondary amenorrhea. CRINONE was approved by the FDA in May 1997. Columbia sold U.S. rights to CRINONE 4% to Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in 2010. Merck Serono holds marketing rights for CRINONE 4% in all territories outside the United States, but does not actively market the product.
